It takes two flints to make a fire.

Jac Taylor: Our managing director is a passionate proponent of branded content in the Australian travel media. An accomplished magazine and digital editor, writer, producer, photographer and videographer in her own right, Jac has been an important voice in the early formation of that sweet spot between authentic editorial credibility, genuine engagement and commercial marketability. She was one of the first travel writers in the country to shape editorially voiced branded content and to position it as her primary business. She is an early adopter, an innovator, a TEDx speaker, and an industry lecturer and teacher, holding university degrees in communications and education.
Some of our favourite contributors and contractors:
Helen Hayes: Expert journalist, influencer and content creator, Helen’s impressive CV includes 14 years in major editorial roles at Vacations & Travel magazine, six years as Editor at Large of Holidays with Kids magazine, and over a decade as Editor of Ski and Snowboard with Kids magazine. She has extensive experience in radio both on air, in production and as an award-winning copywriter, and has also worked in television production, being a founding researcher of much-loved travel show The Great Outdoors.
Tatyana Leonov: With a huge portfolio spanning the travel and lifestyle sphere, Tatyana knows how to translate what a client wants to say into magic the public wants to read. She has a strong professional history as an editor, having previously edited branded magazines published for Flight Centre and Peugeot, and more recently the news-stand magazine Family Travel. She writes regularly for Fairfax/Nine and various glossies, and always finds time to find fresh inspiration globetrotting around the world.
Julie Miller: Versatility is Julie’s middle name: with a background in television production, scriptwriting and research, she is also a published author, award-winning travel writer, content producer, copywriter and famil host. Words are her specialty, storytelling her gift. A regular contributor to publications such as SMH Traveller, MindFood, Flight Centre Travel Ideas and Holidays with Kids magazine, Julie is known and loved throughout the lifestyle media industry.
Susan Elliott: Our TV and video expert has a pedigree in travel TV production few can match. She’s been on the road as a producer, then senior producer for more than 20 years for the three major commercial networks, including 17 years with Sydney Weekender and two years with Better Homes and Gardens. She’s great at pulling together a shoot with a minimum of fuss (and not an expensive catering truck in sight).
Alison Langley: Our favourite digital native moved up through the ranks of all things digital and travel through Australian Traveller Media, executing everything up to large-scale advertising campaigns, ensuring all deliverables on both own and third-party platforms, amplifying and optimising advertising and native content campaigns using multiple platforms, and reporting via analytics. She has an enviably strategic brain and she loves a good database.
